The concept of abundance in all forms has had many of us intrigued. It seems to be only available to a select few. True there are many ways to get there, but here I want to not only share a popular way of getting more bounty from the universe but also explain why this particular method works. I request you not to skim this topic though I am sure you have heard this before.
One of my cyber mentors Mr. Joe vitale has written a whole book about the power of giving with a generous heart what you want to receive. He says if you want to get money, donate money to charity, or just give money to the deserving and needy. If you want love, first give love. Doing it with a business mindset seems to be futile as it is based on a transaction mentality. The fact that you will get what you give is based on the cause and effect principle.
Some people ask me whether you give from a transaction mindset or you are giving it with an open heart, what difference does it make? You are giving anyway! So you must receive, is it not? Well let me explain. When you are giving with a generous heart, the result is giving, agreed, but the cause and intention behind the giving is that of making the other person feel special, feel good and in broader terms making the world a better place to live in. So when things come back to you, they would come in such a way as to make you feel special and great. (Simple cause and effect principle)
Another reason that giving with a cheerful heart is superior is that the giver feels great when the benefactor openly expresses his delight. In the other scenario the situation is something like you ask yourself Ok. All this is fine but when do I see the money (or whatever) that I have given? Consequently the giver never gets to experience the wonderful gift of sharing.
If some of you have tried giving and have not yet received, I ask you to do the same (to the extent that you can) without expecting that you will get it back, just for the sake of sharing whatever little abundance you have with the rest of the world. If you do not feel good about giving, there is no need to give. And yes! If not money, you have so many things to share with the world. Your time, your talent, your love, your experiences to the extent that it helps people, to name a few.
Wondering if I do similar things? I regularly have started giving money though I have been in tight spots. All the articles I have written are for free. They have taken a lot of effort and are distilled from my various experiences. The help they provide in whatever small way to people is sufficient in itself. Many whom I have shared it with have told me that it has made them feel uplifted. By no means do I arrogate myself to the level of a teacher. We all makes mistakes and learn. My intention is to make humanity achieve the highest level of happiness possible in the shortest time possible.
If they really provide value, I have implicit faith that the universe would reward me amply.
